Troubleshooting

Before contacting support, try these common solutions:

Refresh the Page

Many issues can be resolved by simply refreshing your browser. Press F5 or Ctrl+R (Windows) / Cmd+R (Mac).

Clear Browser Cache

Cached data can sometimes cause issues. Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again.

Try a Different Browser

If the issue persists, try using a different browser to determine if it's browser-specific.

Check Your Internet Connection

Tosang requires an internet connection. Ensure you're connected and try loading other websites.

Disable Browser Extensions

Some browser extensions can interfere with web applications. Try disabling them temporarily.

Common Issues

I can't sign in

Possible solutions:

  • Check that you're using the correct email address
  • Ensure your password is correct (passwords are case-sensitive)
  • Try resetting your password using the "Forgot password" link
  • Clear your browser cookies and try again
  • Make sure JavaScript is enabled in your browser

My changes aren't saving

Possible solutions:

  • Check your internet connection - changes require a connection to save
  • Refresh the page and check if your changes appear
  • Look for any error messages on the screen
  • Try logging out and back in

I didn't receive an invitation email

Possible solutions:

  • Check your spam or junk folder
  • Ask the sender to verify they used the correct email address
  • Add our email domain to your safe senders list
  • Ask the sender to remove and resend the invitation
  • Check with your email administrator if you're on a corporate network

I can't see a board that was shared with me

Possible solutions:

  • Check your pending invitations (click the bell icon in the nav bar)
  • Make sure you've accepted the invitation
  • Ask the board owner to verify your email address in the share settings
  • The owner may have revoked access - ask them to reshare

Drag and drop isn't working

Possible solutions:

  • Make sure you're clicking and holding on the task card, not just clicking
  • Try using a different browser
  • If you're on a shared board, verify you have edit permissions (not view-only)
  • Disable any browser extensions that might interfere with drag events

The page looks broken or unstyled

Possible solutions:

  • Clear your browser cache completely
  • Try a hard refresh: Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) / Cmd+Shift+R (Mac)
  • Make sure JavaScript is enabled
  • Update your browser to the latest version

My custom logo isn't showing

Possible solutions:

  • Ensure the image is under 2MB in size
  • Use PNG or JPG format only
  • Try uploading a different image
  • Clear your browser cache after uploading
